The Board has recently been formulating a new set of Strategic Directions for the Centre.
The attached document was presented to a CEO and Presidents forum held on 22/7/09 for discussion.

Strategic Directions 2007 - 2010
Preamble
The Board recently adopted a new set of Strategic Directions to guide its operations for 2007– 2010. A summary of the directions is listed below:
Child, Youth and Family Services Development
Goal 1. To strengthen the capacity of the Centre membership to deliver a continuum of quality services with enhanced outcomes for clients
Leadership and Innovation
Goal 2. To lead and promote sound policy, good practice, shared knowledge and innovation in the child and family welfare sector
Learning and Development
Goal 3. To strengthen and build the knowledge and skills of the Centre membership and child and family welfare sector
Representation
Goal 4. To represent the interests of the Centre's member organisations and the clients they serve
Centre Organisations and Influence
Goal 5. Maintain and enhance the Centre's reputation and position of influence
Governance
Goal 6. Ensure sound governance, resources and infrastructure to support the Centre
