Appeal for Children, Youth and Families in Victoria

The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare Inc. (the Centre) provides representation, professional development, research, policy and program advice, publications and resources for 93 community service organisations delivering services to vulnerable children, young people and families in Victoria. Our members provide vital support and programs such as foster care for children who have been abused or neglected, counselling and family support.

The Centre is currently looking for your support to continue the work it undertakes to support disadvantaged children and young people, so please make a donation or if you would like to consider a bequest, please contact the Centre on (03) 9614 1577 for further information.

Key areas of expenditure for funds donated could:

• Help purchase textbooks for young people in care
• Help with tuition fees for young people in or leaving care
• Help improve the outcomes for kids leaving the care system
• Help celebrate exceptional foster carers and the work they do
• Extend the Centre’s training facilities, enabling more workers to improve their skills and ability to help the children, young people and families with whom they work
